6. Summary of the poem.

-After reading the poem titled "Quarantine" by Eavan Boland I can summarize in short that the poem is about a husband and wife who are forced to move towards north during the Great Irish Famine. This Poem says that the couple walks in the extreme temperature on a wintry night. The next morning the couple are found dead due to cold and hunger and it says that from the way how couple were positioned we can make out that the man had died first due to not being able to resist temptation with his wife's feet in his hands. He had die suddenly trying to provide heat to his sick and suffering wife. This poem is a love poem.

7. Reflection on the poem.

-After reading the poem title "Quarantine" by  Eavan Boland, I felt sad because both of the husband and wife dies at the end. This love  poem motives me because it showcase that love is not always proven by what are considered to be traditional romantic gestures. It also taught me how love can grow more stronger in terrible circumstances.
